Savannah Files practices primarily in the commercial finance division of Kohm & Associates, P.C. Savannah initially joined the firm as a law clerk while attending law school and became an associate attorney upon graduation and licensure.
Savannah graduated with honors from Sam Houston State University in 2015 with a degree in Psychology. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University in 2019, cum laude. During her second year at St. Mary’s, Savannah served as a staff writer on the St. Mary’s Law Journal; she also served on the Editorial Board of the St. Mary’s Law Journal as the Research / Articles Editor during her third year. Additionally, her comment was selected for publication in the St. Mary’s Law Journal on Legal Malpractice and Ethics. Savannah was also inducted into the John M. Harlan Society, an organization that recognizes students who have excelled academically at St. Mary’s University and graduate in the top 10% of the class.
